2009 Review – Goals For 2010

Well..It’s a bit late but I thought I should let you all know my goals for 2010 since as I have been preaching to you all about setting your own goals and targets.

I know a few of you will be  familiar with my story – but some may not so ill give you a brief update.

In February of 2009, after being made redundant from my engineering job – I finally decided to concentrate all my efforts into my online business and go fulltime. It was a hard decision to make, support from friends and family wasn’t great as they didn’t completely understand what I was doing online.

Fast forward a few months I was now at a stage where I was making more online than I had done working as an engineer.

So that’s a brief overview of 2009, what I want to do now is tell you about 2010. My goals and ambitions. Why am I doing this? because if I post it here for the world to see. then I am accountable to all my loyal subscribers, and that is a powerful mental trigger, plus – I’m pretty competitive and don’t want you to see me fail! ;)

So – My goals for 2010.

Business Goals

  • Build my subscriber base to 30,000. I will do this by using adswaps and also through various product launches.
  • Send more informative emails to my list.
  • Build my income to a consistent $30,000 per month.
  • Have my own 6 figure product launch….(working on this now)
  • Set up a membership site helping others to achieve online success
  • Set up a coaching program for my loyal subscribers
  • Redevelop my blog with a redesign and more content updates (at least 1 per week), as I’ve been slacking lately!
  • Go to at least 5 seminars / networking events.(first ones on the 23rd January in London)

Personal Goals

  • Run the London Marathon on the 25th April 2010.
  • Go to the gym at least 3 times a week and also get a personal trainer.
  • Travel more and see the world, Las Vega and an African safari are on my hit list during 2010.
  • Buy a new house
  • Buy a new car, it’s getting old now.
  • Spend next Christmas and New Year somewhere nice and sunny with my friends and girlfriend.

This final goal I would say is a personal and a business goal. I want to train at least one person one on one to do what I have done and earn a full time living online.

So there you have it – I’ve told you what I want to do in 2010..I challenge you to tell me what you are going to do!

My goals may look quite intimidating to you – Hell, they look intimidating to me, but I will achieve them all in 2010. I guarantee it.

Your goals may be earning your first $ online, or getting 1000 subscribes, it doesn’t matter how big, or how small they are, you just need to make sure you have them and that you work towards them everyday.

That is the secret to success. Create goals —> Take action and NEVER EVER stop believing in yourself.
